I graduated in 1999 from Mackenzie University (São Paulo) with a degree in Architecture and Urbanism. My post-graduation studies were in Scenography and Costume Design from the “Belas Artes” College (São Paulo) in 2015. My first hands on experience with my own art productions was in a Practical Creativity course in 2011. During the following years, I took free courses in drawing and painting and also created several and different kinds of art works. I worked with scenography and costumes in theater between 2014 and 2017, developing concepts and also producing (as an assistant and producer). In 2017 I fully embraced my commitment to making art and chose porcelain as my medium at the time. I set up a porcelain Painting and Calligraphy studio, which I maintained until 2021 when I moved with my family to Florida/USA. Now I am living in Chicago/ IL. Currently, I work in my home studio with painting and illustration on paper, canvas and wood panel. A constant theme in my work is the human heart, in its anatomical form, which represents courage-fortress {our ancestors considered the heart as the center of our courage}.
